Amanda and Shawn were college sweethearts and married in 2007. After enduring one too many Chicago winters, the couple decided to pack up and head west to Scottsdale, AZ where they began to build their career and eventually their family. After the birth of their first son, the self-proclaimed city slickers decided it was time to buy a mini van and move to the burbs (Well, not the minivan part…at least not yet).

Amanda is CEO of the household and runs the day-to-day business when she’s all caught up on the boys’ laundry and dishes (insert laughter). She has spent 14 years working professionally with children and families and in 2012, became a trailblazer for her passion to document their family’s memories via a private blog. (Yes…this was happening before Instagram)

Shawn works full-time as a Creative Director (A.K.A. Don Draper…without the vices) for a large health and wellness company. He handles all of the videography, photography and branding plus brings 15 years of experience in creative leadership, design, branding and studio photography.
