Can I get a quote/estimate?
Family videography: yes and no. Our shop is fairly straight forward on our website providing access to our most common family video packages and even includes common add-ons for most family’s needs. You can find what you need, book and purchase directly from the website.
If you need something unique, we’d love to hear what you have in mind. The most comprehensive and beneficial way to connect for new requests is by filling out our family video questionnaire. If this questionnaire seems too detailed or too formal for your request, feel free to contact us via contact form, Instagram DM or call. Once we understand what you have in mind, we will absolutely provide a quote/estimate.
Small Business: Since most small business’ requests are so unique, we will absolutely provide a quote. The most comprehensive and beneficial way to connect for new requests is by filling out either our New Business Project Questionnaire or if you are only interested in video production, filling out the Business Video Questionnaire. If this questionnaire seems too detailed or too formal for your request, feel free to contact us via contact form, Instagram DM or call. Once we understand what you have in mind, we will absolutely provide a quote/estimate.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
While we have never experienced this, we want you to be satisfied. We’ll work with you to understand what expectations we didn’t meet…and we’ll try to make it right. If we determine a partial or full refund is the best for everyone, we will certainly consider it.
Do you have a formal online questionnaire or creative brief?

How far do you travel for videography services?
We are based in Phoenix’s East Valley and will travel nearly anywhere in the world. However, we primarily travel within the East Valley including Scottsdale, East Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Fountain Hills areas. Additional charges may apply if traveling outside these areas.
What's your standard turnaround times?
Here’s a general guide of turnaround times, but every project is different as well as our current bandwidth.

May I reschedule a video production/event?
Yes, you may request to reschedule your service up to 24 hours in advance with no cancellation fees. We know life can sometimes get in the way, but we ask that you only reschedule once and that the new date is within 4 weeks of the initial date.

How far in advance do I need to book a service?
In most cases scheduling your request 1 month in advance is ideal and is a good rule of thumb. If your request is less than 1 month, please don’t be shy about asking about our availability. If your deadline/event is less than 48 hours, please connect with us via email, Instagram DM or call us so we can confirm our availability and so we can quickly connect on your details.
Do you use licensed or copyrighted music for your videos?
Yes, we legally license music for every single video we produce based on the final usage/distribution. Social media and YouTube are infamous for flagging music that isn’t properly copyrighted…but we have you covered and we will make sure your music will never be flagged.
What is your family video process?
We welcome questions and comments…but we’ve outlined our family videography process here.
Do you do photography as well?
Sure! We have a background in both studio and photojournalistic style photography. We are happy to bundle photography in with any other service, however, we don’t currently offer photography as a standalone package.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, our online shop allows for you to pay with either your PayPal account…or you can pay with approved credit cards via PayPal’s portal. Note: Beautiful Matter does NOT handle the credit card transactions.
May I use Venmo or a different payment provider?
Our online shop is streamlined to either use your PayPal account…or you can pay with approved credit cards via PayPal’s portal. If you need an alternative online payment option like Venmo, Zelle, etc, please let us know and we will help find a solution.
May I pay on the event day or upon project completion?
Our goal is to have payment prior to work being completed, this includes travel, meetings, pre-production, etc. If you have a unique situation that requires to pay later, please contact us and let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Why are your prices so low?
We launched Beautiful Matter in April 2019, so we’re still just getting started. We purposefully wanted our prices below market value to peek interest, gain trust and develop a lifelong relationship with your family and/or small business. We’re patient and feel we have services that are unique to the market.
We’ve reversed the saying “champagne taste on Kool-Aid money”; we can promise we’ll overdeliver on expectations.
